前回ご紹介した神奈川県内にある大雄山最乗寺をもう少しご紹介したいと思います。
I would like to introduce a little more about Daiyuzan Saijoji Temple in Kanagawa Prefecture, which I introduced last time.
小田原駅から伊豆箱根鉄道大雄山線に乗り、終点の大雄山駅からバスに乗って大雄山最乗寺へ友人と来ました。
今回は最終目的地である奥の院をご紹介いたします。
I took the Izu Hakone Railway Daiyuzan Line from Odawara Station and took a bus from Daiyuzan Station, the terminal station, to Daiyuzan Saijoji with a friend.
This time, I will introduce Okunoin, the final destination.
下記画像は最乗寺です。これから奥地へ進んで行きます。奥の院まで距離はありませんが、高低差がすごいです。
The image below is Saijoji Temple. From now on, we will proceed to the hinterlands. There is no distance to Okunoin, but the height difference is amazing.
階段の段数がとても多いです。残念ながらスロープなどの施設はございません。自身の足で登るしかありません。
ほぼ修行だと思います。
There are many steps of stairs. Unfortunately, there are no facilities such as slopes. You have to climb on your own feet.I think it’s almost training.
奥の院を守っている天狗です。とても迫力があり、精巧に作られています。周りは高い木々に囲まれており、いい感じの雰囲気があります。
A tengu guarding the Okunoin. It is very powerful and well made. Surrounded by tall trees, it has a pleasant atmosphere.

階段を登り切って、やっと奥の院に到着しました。左手にお土産屋さんがあります。お守りやおみくじといったものが販売されています。ベンチがあって休むことが出来ます。とても重宝します。
After climbing the stairs, we finally arrived at the Okunoin. There is a souvenir shop on your left. Goods such as lucky charms and omikuji are sold. There are benches where you can rest. Very useful.
帰り道は奥の院のさらに奥に進むと細い道があります。軽自動車が辛うじて進める幅の道です。
ここからなら年配者の方や歩く事が困難な方であっても行くことが出来そうです。
On the way back, there is a narrow road as you go further inside Okunoin. The road is wide enough for a light car to drive on.
From here, even elderly people and those who have difficulty walking seem to be able to go.
更に歩き続けます。お店が数件ありますが、あまり人はいません。

こちらのお店で昼食です。画像はございませんが、有名人の写真が飾っていました。
I have lunch at this restaurant. I don’t have a picture of it, but it was decorated with pictures of celebrities.
今回で大雄山最乗寺のご紹介は終了となります。比較的行きやすい場所でもあり、それなりの旅感も味わえます。
